At Present?

I am currently pursing my MBA at New York University’s Stern School of Business with a specialization in corporate finance, strategy, and innovation. As I invest in developing my business acumen, I am interested in continuing to grow my career by bringing my language skills, constant curiosity, and results oriented approach to a company.

Partners Group

Summer Associate, Private Equity and Operating Directs & Entrepreneurial Governance

June 2022 - August 2022

Partners Group is a global mid-to-large cap investment management firm headquartered in Switzerland with a vision of investing in companies that will provide the strongest return to investors and create benefits to stakeholders at large. In this role, I was exposed to asset management of private infrastructure and private equity investments. I assisted in interviewing executives for board of directors positions at new and existing assets, assisted the Client Solutions team with portfolio updates for current investors and proposals for interested potential clients. Additionally, I led an analysis of current sitting directors to understand how diverse, inclusive, and equitable the boards were and how representative they were of the general population. I developed a strategy for tackling diversity and inclusion in the future and making D&I a priority for the firm. I also worked closely with the COO of Private Equity on The Mountain Summit, the first gathering of all portfolio company leadership in the United States. For this, I developed a plan, managed the project details, and created a handoff plan.

K2 Integrity (formerly K2 Intelligence)

Associate, Private Client Services/ Investigations and Disputes

July 2019 - March 2021

At K2 Integrity (formerly known as K2 Intelligence), my roles varied and exposed me to a variety of industries and clients. From managing research on pre-investment due diligences for hedge funds to completing comprehensive pre-employment reports for family offices to art related investigations for collectors. Beyond research and deliverable writing, I led threat investigations for Fortune 500 companies, high net-worth individuals, and celebrities, employing extensive knowledge of the technology landscape and a variety of databases. All research and threat monitoring projects were completed in multiple languages ranging from English to Spanish, Portuguese and French. Additionally, I conducted anti-money laundering, submitted SARs and reviewed financial statements for a federal look back project for a foreign bank. My extensive multicultural knowledge allowed me to interact with research subjects and material in a nuanced way allowing me to provide clients with the most relevant information regardless of subject jurisdiction.

The Metropolitan Museum of Art

Development Assistant, Campaign and Stewardship

November 2017 - July 2019

In this position, I managed groups of Trustees and high-level donors who are active participants in the Development department and worked with backend stewardships of donors of $1,500 to $1,500,000 to The Metropolitan Museum of Art. My responsibilities included managing Development Committee meetings, which involved maintaining contact with Trustees and their offices, preparing materials to present at the meetings, and stewarding committee members. The Major Gifts Committee, a group comprised of dedicated donors and Trustees, underwent a large restructuring, for which I assisted on researching and strategizing. Furthermore, I planned meeting agendas and stewarded these donors and their prospects throughout the year. For the “Women and the Critical Eye” annual event, I oversaw and reported on all donations relating to the event. In its first fundraising year, the Women’s Event brought in over $350,000 of general operating funds. In the subsequent year, the event raised close to $500,000 for the Museum. I managed the event host committee made up of over 150 women, including stewarding and tracking donations, guests, and total participation. In addition, I managed marketing and communication materials for internal and external use. During my time at the Museum, I also volunteered as a translator working on the admissions kiosks and the website, and translating all corresponding copy into French and Spanish. Managed two direct reports - an intern and a temporary employee.
